Who We Are
Race 4 A Reason is a team effort that combines the competitive drive of the Starbucks Cycling Team and the muscle of Seattle Cancer Care Alliance to do more than just win bike races -- Race 4 A Reason will help support people in all stages of survivorship by raising money for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center's Survivorship Program, part of the LIVESTRONG™ Survivorship Center of Excellence Network.
Competitive cyclists, cancer survivors, and other goal-oriented people are working together to help raise awareness, provide support, and raise money for cancer research.
We have big ideas, big goals, and the energy to attain them.
Race 4 A Reason is made up of people from the Starbucks Cycling team and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
The Starbucks Cycling Team consists of nearly 40 men and women dedicated to riding fast. These are people with professional careers and families. Serious about their sport, they’re also serious about helping others in ways that are both creative and exciting. Fighting cancer isn’t just a battle cry, it’s a unified goal that can be attained from many sides with many people working together.
